ay we release redSHOP 1.1 FINAL!

It is with GREAT pride we release redSHOP 1.1 final to the public.

And this time public - really means public - as starting from this moment redSHOP 1.1 is now a NON-COMMERCIAL component.

What does this mean? It means that all registered user, 3 month subscribers, 12 month subscribers and 12 month pro subscribers has access to redSHOP 1.1!

So whats the difference? The free registered users and 3 month subscribers are limited in terms of extensions and support, the 12 month subscribers has a lot more access and subscriber forum support and the 12 month pro subscribers gets FULL access to all of redCOMPONENT extensions + subscription support + email support + the in a near future coming automated upgrade system for redSHOP.

After spending 8 months building redSHOP 1.1 on the platform of redSHOP 1.0 series we really have gotten to a level of great stability in the code base and a lot more optimized and structured code with a lot more possibilities for 3rd parties to create extensions for redSHOP.

But without a lot more writing i will get to the core of things and list up some of the highlights thats the result of redSHOP 1.1 and get this release out to you the user and on a final note just say that on behalf of the entire redTEAM i hope you will share this good news with us and take as much joy in using redSHOP as we have had.

Highlights:
New Wizard for easy setup
New Configuration with updated labels and tooltips for easier understanding and split up into more logical sections
New Dashboard with Hot icons, and options for latest orders etc. all customizable
New Privilliged User Access - Specify Backend Capabilities on singleuser level
New Optional 1 Page templateable checkout
New Improved and Simpler Attribute Set handling
New Supplier + Manufacturer order email copies (basic dropshipping ability)
All Payment and Shipping plugins moved to Joomla Plugin level
+ More than 2000 Tasks finished in the redSHOP 1.0 to 1.1 total phase hereunder masses of tweaking, restructuring, features through out all levels of redSHOP.

Remember to backup before upgrading!

Important:
This is a new version if you are upgrading from the 1.0.x series remember to BACK UP your site and DB

Upgrade all modules and shipping plugins!
Payment plugins is part of the Joomla plugins now(not part of the redSHOP backend). They should be installed via the Joomla installer

Be aware of the following:
The "Cart" template and the last step before payment has been split into 2 seperate templates(Cart and checkout)
Attribute prices has VAT applied now.

If you are using economic notice it has gone through major changes, please install the new plugin, activate, enable via config, And add your account plands under the economic product group.
Tax exemption is moved from shopper group to individual users

Files Released today:

All files found in the respective downloadfolders are released as redSHOP 1.1 final releases today and tagged as such - in total there is more than 85 files released.
